How to Get Rid of Oily Skin

Oily skin occurs when the sebaceous glands are over-active and produce excessive oil. The oil can potentially clog pores and attract bacteria causing frequent breakouts. Often a chronically oily skin has large pores, often with blackheads and whiteheads. The skin requires thorough but gentle cleansing.

There are numerous factors which can lead to oily skin, Some of these include:
Hereditary factors
Diet
Cosmetics
Hormone levels
The hormones to fluctuate around puberty
Seasonal changes
Stress
Oral Contraceptives
Weather

How to Get Rid of Oily Skin

There are some tips to improve your skin:
1. Use a liquid face wash that contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), such as citric acid, lactic acid, or glycolic acid.

2. Use a light toner which has hazel and tea tree oil as these help to close pores.

3. Wash your face with soap before going to bed.

4. Mix 3 tablespoons of corn flour, apply this mixture over the face, wash your face after 30 minutes.

5. Beat the yolk finely and apply this mixture over the face, wash the face after 20 minutes.

6. Apply aloe Vera to your face, allow it to dry, wash the face after 15 minutes. Do this way twice a day. Aloe Vera can help in absorbing the oil from the skin.

7. Mix lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon with 1/2 teaspoon of cucumber juice, apply on your skin before taking shower. They can help in cleaning the skin pores and eliminating the dead cells.

8. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables more, it can help in preventing facial acne as well as the grease.

9. Keep sufficient sleep.

10. Regular exercise. Because it can boosts circulation.
