What is Wheat Allergy?
Wheat allergy is a rare allergy which is one of the more common food allergies. The allergy in fact refers to the abnormal behavior of immune system caused due to the protein contained in the wheat grain. Once you get affected with such an ailment, it directly gives the indication that your immune system has developed a special antibody that makes the proteins within the wheat you consume, next to unbearable. Although it may not be as well known as Celiac disease, a wheat allergy is a serious and potentially life threatening health condition.

What causes wheat allergy?
Albumin, globulin, gliadin and gluten can cause wheat allergy. You’ll need to avoid or find substitutes for these foods:

Cookies
Pasta
Crackers
Dairy products
Modified food starch
Oat
Natural flavorings
Muffins
Wheat germ
Soy sauce
Beer
